Wildlife Damage Control Technician

Job Description

Immediate opening in urban nuisance wildlife control involving residential, commercial, municipal and industrial wildlife control and nuisance wildlife trapping. The technician will be making inspections of properties for wildlife and rodent damage and issuing recommendations for a solution to the problem. Must be able to maintain accounts of active customers, which includes doing inspections, setting live traps, baiting for rodents, doing light carpentry work (to exclude animals) and working at roof-top levels and on chimneys. The environment is friendly, casual, and sales oriented. All training is provided.


Physically fit person with ability to use tall ladders, use live traps, and be able to work at chimney and roof-top heights. Good communication skills and sales ability are necessary, as this position entails talking with customers on a daily basis. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. over head and use 32' extension ladders. Background in wildlife or another environmental field is helpful. Ability to handle and euthanize wild animals is required. A good driving record is essential. Must be available to work after hours and on some weekends. Maturity and ability to work without immediate close supervision.


Hourly wage bases on experience and qualifications, plus bonuses and commissions.
